BDC were engaged to assist with the refurbishment and repair of a grade II listed shop/residential property.
The property had been subjected to a number of historic alterations which had compromised the original structure this combined with deuteration and decay of the of the restraint afforded to the front façade by the rafters to the roof.
The front façade to the building had a significant bow which was progressive and required additional restraint and repair including repair to rotten central timber post support to the bresummer beam at first floor over the shop front.
